The talked about underground hit Off Broadway has seen in ages, Punchdrunk's Sleep No More continues to sell out nightly at Chelsea’s McKittrick Hotel. The award-winning event caused a sensation when it opened to rave reviews in Spring of 2011, and demand for access hasn’t let up since. A mind-blowing riff on Shakespeare’s classic tragedy Macbeth, seen through a darkly cinematic lens, Sleep No More immerses its audience in a gigantic, fully realized theatrical landscape made up of nearly one-hundred individually designed spaces. Masked patrons move freely through the strange world of the story at their own pace, choosing where to go and what to see, ensuring that everyone’s journey is completely unique. And, of course, the hotel’s now famous Manderley Bar is open during and after the show -- just in case all that running around leaves one thirsty for an expertly crafted libation.
